Friday Night Chat
Hey guys, just wanted to write a quick blog post letting you know some of the things we have in the works. Keep an eye out on the "Things We Support" section of our blog because we've been in contact with a few companies we really dig that we think you'd like as well. We've been recording unboxing videos of cool gear and we'll also be recording update videos after trail testing them so keep an eye on our YouTube channel. If you haven't yet, subscribe to our channel, like our videos, leave us a comment, but most of all, if you like what we're doing, please share! Thanks!

All In This Together - Thank You
Hey, all. We just want to take the time to say thank you to each and every person that has taken the time to join us on our biking journey so far. In a little over two weeks we've had over 100 "likes" on our FaceBook page, and over 50 views on our first unboxing video on YouTube. Needless to say, it's been a whirlwind.
The idea that eventually grew to be 2 Guys With Bikes was born on the trail. As people, we've always wanted a way to do what we love while sharing the experiences we've made to help people on their own personal journey.
We noticed early on that there weren't many outlets for average people that had a true passion for biking. Most of what we found online were people that either owned bikes shops or were professional bikers. We pride ourselves on being neither. One of our founding principles has, and always will be doing what we love with the average person in mind. One constant thought we've always held is the belief that we're all in this together.
We hope that you take the time to share our social media outlets with people you know, and if you have a true passion for biking like we do, stay tuned. Feel free to communicate with us. We love telling and listening to stories and we'd love to hear yours! Here's to many more rides to come!

Not Quite a Thousand Words
One thing that you should know about Travis and me is that we struggle. Constantly. But despite all the struggling we do, we always manage to make the best of any situation we're in. Story time: Today Travis and I decided to spend some time taking a few pictures of us and our bikes to use as profile pictures on our social media sites. Long story short, if you're going to take pictures, don't forget your memory card. Can't really do much without it. Plan B: Travis and I ended up biking back to my place (which luckily was just across the street) while his wife sat freezing waiting for us and grabbed one to use. Freezing temperatures in New Hampshire. In January. Imagine that. Here are some of the pictures that we took.

Update #1
Hey, all. Just a quick update. So as you may or may not know, we are just starting out in our social media journey. As such, there have been a few struggles that we are going through in getting everything up and running. Here is a break down of things that we have in the works and the statuses of everything:
- Facebook:
We are working on getting out Facebook page up and running. We have a page but have not updated it as of yet.
- Instagram:
We do not have an Instagram account as of yet, but we are in the process of setting one up.
- Twitter:
We have a twitter handle up and running but it's a little bare at the moment. We are in the process of getting a logo made for us to use as a profile pic, as well as searching for a good header picture to use. In the mean time, our twitter is fully functional. We are posting tweets and most importantly taking followers, so if you're on twitterland, please follow us! @2guyswithbikes
- YouTube:
We have a YouTube channel running with a couple videos posted. Unfortunately, Google has updated their process in obtaining a custom URL. We are in the process of going through the requirements to do so, so please bear with us. In the meantime, you can still subscribe to our channel as well as like and comment on our videos, so please do that!!! They can be found here:

To Bike is to Human
Growing up, most people are taught to bike. Like learning to walk, biking has been a part of growing older for many years. A right of passage of sorts, some people remember the day they've learned to bike vividly, while some (like myself) don't remember learning how to bike at all.
Later on in life, everyone comes back to biking for different reasons. For me it was in the summer of 2005. My dad had always been an avid biker growing up so I was no a stranger to the sport. I was 16 years old, and one day, I decided I wanted to buy a bike. I worked my butt off and saved $350 of my own hard earned money and bought a Trek 3700, the same bike I ride to date. Sure it might not be the most expensive bike. Or a bike with all the bells and whistles. But it's mine.
I believe that if you treat your bike right, it'll be by your side for many years to come. Like an old friend, a person and their bike share times and moments of deep serenity. More than that, biking connects a person to a time honored tradition passed on from person to person. Biking makes you human.
